The iPad Lawyer – Apps Update – 8/12/2015

Happy Wednesday, everyone.

I’ve got some apps for you to consider today . . .

Whether you’re a journaler or not, an app called DayOne will help you track what’s going on in your business and permit you to capture your ideas for easy reference and implementation later on. The app is normally $4.99. Today it is only $1.99. You save $3.00.

For creating handwritten notes on your iPad, you can’t do much better than using Notability. I’ve written about this marvelous app before (although I have wobbled between this app and Noteshelf). Notability also lets you capture audio while you’re taking your notes and syncs the audio with where you are in a particular note. You can also sync certain types of written notes with your iPhone. I urge you to take a look at this app. Normally, it is $5.99. Today, it is only $2.99. You save $3.00.

Still looking for a writing alternative for your iOS device? There’s a distraction-free app called iA Writer Pro  you might find to your taste. Normally, the app is $9.99. Today it is $4.99. You save $5.00.

The iPad Lawyer – Apps Update – 8/4/2015

Good morning, all! Finally . . . after a long dry spell . . . I have some apps worth sharing with you. (I do find it interesting the sudden lack of memorable apps. It appears, to me, that more focus is being placed on the Apple Watch and MacBook products. There are also various reports of declining sales of iPads and that might be causing developers and Apple to shift their focus, for the moment, away from the use of the iPad as a productive and powerful alternative for people like you and me.)

So, on to apps . . .

I think we all look for the best calendar app we can use on our iPad and iPhone. One of the apps you might want to consider is from Readdle and it’s called Calendars 5. One of the intriguing functions of this app is that you can make entries while offline and it will automatically sync once you have connectivity again. Calendars 5 is normally $6.99. Today it is $2.99. You save $4.00.

While we’re on the Readdle trail, PDF Expert 5 is an app for both your iPad and iPhone that will allow you to do all sorts of wonderful things with PDFs. You can annotate, sign documents, and even manage files. The app is normally $9.99. Today it is $4.99. You save $5.00.

Have you ever needed to convert a non-PDF document to PDF format? I know I have. Readdle’s PDF Converter is perfect for accomplishing that very task. Normally, the app is $2.99. Today it is only $1.99. You save $1.00.
