Good morning, all. I’ve just returned from Chicago. While I was there, I was privileged to present one of my iOS in Business events at Apple’s North Michigan Avenue Briefing Room. Every attendee got to see and try on various versions of the Apple Watch.
I can now tell you that the Watch is very light weight, sleek in design, and incredibly easy to use. And it does more than you probably think. Let’s explore some of the things I’ve been told and then I’m going to give you a list of the apps that I’m excited to see for the Watch.
• The Apple Watch will store a small amount of music in its memory. This will allow you to listen to music through a Bluetooth headset without having your phone on or near you.
• The Apple Watch will use fitness apps that can run on independently of the phone.
• The Apple Watch has a small photo album.
• The Apple Watch’s alarms, timers, and clock will work without your phone being on or near you.
So, onto apps. Here are a few of the latest iPhone and iPad apps that have been updated to work with the Apple Watch. More are coming, so make sure to check back with me for updates.
