The iPad Lawyer – Apps

Good morning, iPad Lawyer Tribe!

There’s only one app deal I want to share with you today . . . but it’s important enough to take the time to do so . . .

I know that Microsoft has released Word for iPad. I know it’s a marvelous app (and I even use it now). I also know that you have to pay for an Office 365 subscription in order to get full use out of Word.

For those times when you want a stand-alone, content-is-generated-and-stays-on-the-iPad alternative, take a look at Documents to Go. It is a suite of programs (word processing, spreadsheet, PowerPoint, and even PDF handling) and works across devices (iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch). There is a Standard Version and a Premium Version. The Premium Version adds PowerPoint and cloud sync support. I’d go with the Premium Version.

Normally, the Standard Version is $9.99 and the Premium Version is $16.99. Today, the Standard Version is $7.99 and the Premium Version is $12.99. You save $2.00 and $4.00, respectively.

I look forward to seeing some of you tomorrow night at Apple’s Pasadena event. Until then, go out and make it a MILLION DOLLAR day! – Scott
