iPad Lawyer News – App Deals – 12/21/2013

Happy Saturday, iPad Lawyer Tribe. With Christmas fast-approaching, there are many app deals appearing. I didn’t want to wait past the weekend to tell you about them. So . . . here we go . . .
MagicalPad HD lets you create notes, capture ideas, doodle, and manage your to-do lists. I really like the user interface and what you can do with this app. Normally, MagicalPad HD is $19.99. Today it is $.99. That’s a $19.00 savings.

You’ve heard me talk about Drafts for iPad as an interesting alternative to Notesy. Drafts for iPad is really a spectacular way to create notes. Normally, it is $3.99. Today it is only $2.99. You save $1.00. [Hint: If you download this, make sure to check out the Action Directory for read-to-do actions.]

With the challenging changes that have been happening with office suites, lately, I get asked lots of questions about what I’m using now. Well, Office2 HD is it. You can open, view, create and edit Word (DOC & DOCX), Excel (XLS & XLSX), and PowerPoint (PPT & PPTX) files right from your iPad! Normally, this app is $7.99. Today it is only $.99. You save $7.00.

Although I’m currently using Pocket Informant Pro for my scheduling needs, you’ve heard me talk about Calendars 5 before. Normally, this app is $6.99. Today it is $2.99. You save $4.00.[Note: I still like the way Calendars 5 looks and handles. My only criticism is that you can’t add an invitee to an event.]
